Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI) produces and markets specialty chemicals including fertilizers, soil fumigants and various industrial chemicals to divergent markets in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America and selected countries throughout the world.  In the oil and gas sector of its business, TKI provides specialized technical and construction services to its customers through Tessenderlo Kerley Services. In the area of refinery and gas plant services, MPR Services Inc. provides amine and glycol cleaning and other related services. TKI supports these diverse business units with a staff of highly trained technical and administrative professionals in strategic locations. 

The common link for several of our key nutritional products is the thiosulfate molecule. From this structure we have developed our THIO-SUL® brand ammonium thiosulfate (ATS) (12-0-0+26S), KTS® brand of potassium thiosulfate (0-0-26+17S), CaTs® brand of calcium thiosulfate (0-0-0+10S+6Ca) and most recently MagThio® brand of magnesium thiosulfate (0-0-0+10S+4Mg). These specialty fertilizer solutions continue to dominate in the world’s broadacre, fruit and vegetable markets. We are a leader in the slow release nitrogen market with our triazone based solutions (N-Sure® brands) which are widely used in many and varied crop nutritional programs.

TKI currently maintains 9 manufacturing plants and over 60 terminals in key agricultural production areas to serve this market.

In 1999 TKI entered the crop protection sector with its acquisition of the Sectagon 42® brand of metam sodium.  Today, TKI is the world's largest producer of metam-based fumigants and it is this success that has led to the formation of the NovaSource business unit.

TKI is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessenderlo Group, Brussels, Belgium.

Composed of a group of seasoned crop protection professionals and supported by an experienced TKI back office staff, our team maintains a vigilant dialogue with crop protection distributors and specialty marketing companies seeking to develop mutually beneficial products.  We believe to be successful all participants in the chain must realize long-lasting benefits. In an effort to achieve this result we select niche products, differentiate, creatively market and use discreet distribution tactics on a product-by-product basis.

NovaSource plans to develop or acquire two to three new products each year.
