Jim Owens Elected President of Washington Friends of Farms and Forests
(Phoenix, Arizona, March 5, 2007)— Jim Owens, regional sales manager for Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc (TKI) Pasco, was elected president of Washington Friends of Farms and Forest at their recent annual meeting. Owens has served on the Board of this organization since 1999. Elected vice president was Mark Sheldahl, area forester for Weyerhaeuser, Longview. Jeff Blackner, manager for Washington Tree Service, Tacoma was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Washington Friends of Farms & Forests is a non-profit association made up of farmers, foresters, food processors, pesticide applicators, lawn and tree care companies, golf course superintendents, registrants, retailers and others interested in natural resource policy issues.
