Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc.’ Burley Idaho Plant Receives VPP for the Second Time (Phoenix, Arizona, July 6, 2009) Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI) announced today their Burley, Idaho plant has received VPP STAR status for the second time. The STAR designation has been extended for 5 more years after OSHA’s review of this facility. The plant produces metam sodium and terminals metam potassium for the agricultural market. The Burley facility is one of 270 industries nationwide having earned entry into OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Plan (VPP). Ken Gagon, group vice-president, operations and technical services, stated, “The employees at our Burley plant are a reflection of TKI’s genuine commitment to the level of safety that we have been striving to achieve from management and all employees throughout the company”.
